ᛃ Jera

Jera means "year" or "harvest" and marks the natural turn of a full cycle — planting, tending, and only then reaping, in that order, with no step skippable. It's one of the Futhark's most straightforwardly hopeful runes: the reward for patience actually arrives, on its own schedule.

As a birth sign, Jera is traditionally read as someone whose results come through right timing rather than shortcuts — steady, cyclical effort that pays off exactly when it's due, not sooner. The classical reading treats this as the antidote to Isa's frozen pause just before it: the same waiting, now finally bearing fruit.
