ᚹ Wunjo

Wunjo means "joy" and closes out the Futhark's first eight-rune group (the aett) on a high note — after wealth, strength, conflict, communication, movement, craft, and exchange, this is the payoff: harmony, once the groundwork is actually done.

As a birth sign, Wunjo is traditionally read as an ease with happiness — not naive optimism, but a genuine capacity to enjoy what's been built and to make others comfortable around you. The classical reading treats this joy as earned rather than given: it follows the seven runes before it, not a shortcut around them.
